Fila Pre-Sealer

Fila pre-sealers are designed to protect absorbent tiles and stone before installation, reducing the risk of staining, efflorescence, and contamination during laying. Used mainly on natural stone, terracotta, porcelain, and similar materials, these products are applied to the back and edges of the tile prior to fixing. This limits the movement of salts, tannins, and oxides through the body of the material, which can otherwise appear as marks or discolouration on the finished surface.

The Fila pre-sealer range focuses on breathable, water-based solutions that do not form surface films or interfere with adhesion when applied correctly. These products are commonly specified by tilers and stone installers where appearance control is critical, particularly on light-coloured or moisture-sensitive materials. Suitable for both residential and commercial projects, Fila pre-sealers help maintain a clean finish and reduce call-backs caused by staining after installation.
