Shipping & Returns Policy

Surtec is committed to delivering products safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific Islands. The following outlines our shipping terms, timeframes, and expectations.

New Zealand Shipping

General Orders:
Free shipping is available on qualifying orders over a specified value. A flat-rate shipping charge applies to smaller orders.

Tile Trims and Oversized Items:
Due to their size and specialised packaging requirements, tile trims and similar oversized items incur a fixed shipping fee and are excluded from the free shipping offer.

Where possible, we will consolidate freight to minimise shipping costs. If we can offer savings across multiple items or orders, our team will contact you directly.

Australia and Pacific Islands Shipping

We offer international shipping to Australia, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands, New Caledonia, and other Pacific regions.

Shipping rates are based on:

  • Total order weight and dimensions
  • Delivery destination
  • Product type (oversized items may incur higher charges)

Our team will confirm shipping costs and estimated delivery timeframes prior to dispatch.

Dispatch and Delivery Timeframes

Orders placed before 12:00 p.m. NZT are generally dispatched the same day.

New Zealand:

  • North Island: 1–2 business days
  • South Island: 2–4 business days
  • Rural areas may take longer

Australia and the Pacific Islands:
Allow 4–10 business days, depending on destination and customs clearance procedures.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be sent via email. You can monitor your shipment using the courier’s tracking portal. If you have any concerns, please contact our team directly.

Split Deliveries

Some orders may be dispatched in multiple shipments based on stock availability or packaging requirements. You will not be charged extra for split deliveries.

Delivery Instructions

You may include special delivery instructions during checkout (e.g. "Leave behind gate" or "Call on arrival"). While we will forward these to our courier partners, we cannot guarantee all requests will be followed.

Restricted Delivery Zones

Surtec does not ship to PO Boxes or military addresses. If you are unsure about delivery to your location, please contact us before placing an order.

Contact Number Requirement

A valid contact phone number is required at checkout to ensure smooth delivery. Couriers may contact you directly to coordinate delivery or request access details.

Click and Collect (Auckland Only)

Customers may collect orders from our Auckland branches located in Glenfield, Ellerslie, or Henderson. You will be notified when your order is ready for pickup.

Freight Damage or Delivery Issues

Please notify us of any freight damage or delivery concerns within 48 hours of receiving your order. Where applicable, include photographs and email the details to contact@surtec.co.nz so we can assist promptly.
