FILA WET Eco is a plant-based, VOC-free sealer that protects unpolished natural stone, agglomerates, and terracotta while giving surfaces a rich wet-look finish. It blocks stain absorption, resists heavy foot traffic, and holds up against weathering without peeling or yellowing. Suited primarily to exterior use but equally effective indoors.

WET-LOOK CONSOLIDATING PROTECTOR

Some surfaces need more than basic protection. FILA WET Eco seals porous, unpolished materials from the inside out, stopping stains from taking hold while enhancing the natural depth and tone of the surface with a wet-look effect. The result is a finish that looks deliberate, not treated.

Developed from raw materials of organic origin and renewable resources, FILA WET Eco carries an INDOOR AIR COMFORT GOLD certificate and contains no VOCs. It does not affect the frost resistance of terracotta, tested to UNI EN ISO 10545-12, and its formulation makes future cleaning and maintenance noticeably easier over time.

Notes

Do not apply outdoors if rain is forecast within the next 24 hours. Allow 24 hours before foot traffic on treated surfaces.
In heavily exposed outdoor areas, a reapplication every two years keeps protection at full strength.
On low-absorbency surfaces such as slate, Botticino, or Carrara marble, dilute with water at a 1:1 ratio. Not suitable for polished surfaces.
Cannot be applied over surfaces affected by rising dampness.
If the product is applied incorrectly or a full removal is needed, use NOPAINT STAR to strip it back.

1. What finish does FILA WET Eco leave on the surface?

It leaves a wet-look effect that deepens the natural tone and texture of the material. The finish is intentional rather than coated-looking, and it does not form a thick film on top of the surface.

2. Is this product suitable for outdoor use?

That is where it performs best. The formula resists weathering, heavy traffic, and temperature fluctuation without breaking down. It also works well inside, but outdoor applications are where it earns its keep.

3. How often does it need to be reapplied outdoors?

In areas with significant weather exposure, reapplying every two years keeps the protection consistent. Less exposed areas may go longer between applications depending on traffic and conditions.

4. Can it be used on marble or slate?

On low-absorbency surfaces like slate, Botticino, or Carrara marble, dilute it with an equal amount of water before applying. Do not use it on polished surfaces of any kind.

5. What should I do if it was applied incorrectly?

Use NOPAINT STAR to remove it. This applies both to application errors and situations where a full surface reset is needed before resealing.

6. Does it affect terracotta frost resistance?

No. FILA WET Eco does not alter the frost resistance of terracotta, confirmed through testing carried out to UNI EN ISO 10545-12.
