Description

If the tiling is not done correctly on a channel drain shower and a Waterstop is not installed there can be an issue with capillary action, which can cause water to travel up the sides of the recess out onto the shower floor.

The Side Panel Waterstop is used for a mono fall channel drain type shower floor. The Waterstop allows for the shower screen to be placed on a supported ledge with the vertical upstand of the Waterstop sitting directly behind the shower screen. The Waterstop is waterproofed over.
