Overview

This grout rubber NZ is the replacement blue blade made for Raimondi grout floats. It gives you a clean, even spread when you’re pushing grout into joints, especially on denser tiles where you need a bit of flex without losing control. Light, easy to swap out and built to last longer than the cheap sponges. Good bit of kit for tilers who want tidy joints and less mess to clean up after.

Smooth, Even Spread:
The rubber edge pushes grout right into the joints without dragging or leaving gaps. Handy on floor tiles where you want everything packed tight.

Flexible but Firm:
Has enough give to glide over uneven tile faces, but not so soft that it folds over. Makes it easier to keep pressure on without your wrist blowing out.

Durable Rubber:
Holds its shape after plenty of use. Doesn’t tear quickly like the cheaper ones you get at some sheds.

Easy Replacement Fit:
Swaps straight into your existing Raimondi float. No mucking around with odd clips or screws.

Good for Walls and Floors:
Works on glazed, porcelain or stone tiles whether you’re doing walls, splashbacks or big floor runs.

Tradie-Friendly Build:
Light in the hand and doesn’t load up with grout too fast, which saves time when you’re rinsing between passes.

Bathroom Walls and Floors:
Great for squeezing grout tight around showers, niches and splashbacks. Makes the job look cleaner.

Kitchen or Laundry Tiles:
Good for smaller jobs where you want a neat finish without streaks across the tile.

Large Floor Areas:
Handles long pulls across bigger tiles without folding or gouging. Keeps the joints filled consistently.

Outdoor Undercover Areas:
Nice for patios and entryways that are tiled, as long as the grout you’re using suits the area.

Renovation Work:
Handy replacement for worn-out rubbers on older floats when you don’t want to buy a brand-new tool.

Swap the Blade:
Slide out the old rubber from your Raimondi float and slot the new one in. Make sure it sits flush along the edge.

Press and Pull:
Push grout into joints on the angle, then pull back at a steeper angle to scrape off the excess.

Keep It Clean:
Rinse the rubber every few minutes so it doesn’t drag dried grout back across the tiles.

Work in Sections:
Do a few square metres at a time so the grout doesn’t set too hard before you sponge off.

Check Your Edges:
Run the blade carefully along corners or trims to avoid hollow spots.

Blue rubber blade with a smooth working edge. Fits standard Raimondi grout floats.

If the grout starts to go tacky, wet the blade lightly before your next pass. Stops it grabbing and leaves a cleaner line.

If you need a replacement rubber that slots straight into your Raimondi float, the Surtec crew can point you to the right one for your setup.

1. Will this fit any grout float?
No, it’s made for Raimondi floats. It might fit others, but best to use it with the proper tool.

2. Does the rubber wear fast?
Not really. It’s tougher than basic rubbers and holds shape longer with daily use.

3. Can I use it on textured tiles?
Yep, just rinse often so the grout doesn’t cake up on the edge.

4. Is it good for epoxy grout?
Yep, works fine, just clean it quickly because epoxy sets harder.

5. Do I need to trim it?No trimming needed. It comes to size and slots straight into your float.
