Techno Epoxy Crack & Joint Filler is a
two-component, 100% solids, semi-rigid, self-leveling
epoxy designed for filling cracks and control joints in
concrete substrates.
Formulated for horizontal applications, it helps protect
joint edges and reduce spalling in trafficable floors.
Standard colour is grey. A wide range of custom
colours may be available on request.

  • Protects joint edges and helps prevent spalling in
    control joints.
  • High bond strength.
  • Resistance to mild acids/alkalis and incidental.
    contact with aromatic solvents.
  • Excellent thermal shock resistance.
  • Self-leveling formulation suited to horizontal
    surfaces.
  • Filling concrete construction joints
  • Control joints
  • Cracks in concrete
  • Traffic loop sealant
  • Wire sealant

1. Prepare the joint/crack: saw-cut or chase to sound
edges. Remove dust, laitance, and loose material;
vacuum clean.
2. Set depth where required using a suitable backer
rod. Mask both sides of the joint to keep clean
edges.
3. Mix: pre-mix Part A and Part B separately, then
combine at 1:1 by weight. Mix thoroughly until
uniform. Do not thin.
4. Apply: pour into the joint/crack and allow to
self-level. Use a squeegee/putty knife to assist and
avoid air entrapment.
5. Finish: remove masking tape before the epoxy
cures. Once cured, shave or grind flush if required
prior to coating/overlay.
6. Cure: protect from traffic until tack-free. Cure times
vary with temperature—refer to the Technical
Information table.

1. What is Techno Epoxy Crack & Joint Filler (Techno Crack Repair) used for?
It’s a two-component, 100% solids, semi-rigid, self-levelling epoxy for filling cracks and control joints in concrete. It’s formulated for horizontal applications to help protect joint edges and reduce spalling in trafficable floors.

2. Where can I apply it?
It’s suitable for concrete construction joints, control joints, and cracks in concrete, and can also be used as a traffic loop sealant or wire sealant (where specified).

3. How much product will I need?
Coverage depends on joint width and depth. The TDS provides an approximate litres per 30 m of joint table across common joint dimensions, use that as your estimating guide.

4. How do I mix and apply it?

Prep: saw-cut/chase to sound edges, remove dust/laitance/loose material, and vacuum clean.
Set depth & mask: use a suitable backer rod where required and mask joint edges.
Mix: pre-mix Part A and Part B separately, then combine at 1:1 by eight, mixing until uniform (do not thin).
Apply/finish: pour into the joint/crack and allow to self-level; use a squeegee/putty knife to help and avoid air entrapment. Remove masking tape before cure; once cured, shave/grind flush if needed prior to coating/overlay.

5. What are the key cure times and limitations?
At 24°C, pot life is 30–45 min, gel time 40–50 min, and tack-free time 5–6 hours, protect from traffic until tack-free (temperature affects cure).
